Portfolio: Places of Worship | Churches

Churches grapple with many issues as they evolve and change over time. For many congregations across the country the key issue is accommodating rapid growth, which presents both opportunities and challenges. Design of new or renovated facilities that are tailored to the church’s specific needs provides a great opportunity to expand the ministry’s service and connection to its congregation. The challenge is to make sure those buildings serve the congregation’s needs now and in the future.

Ankrom Moisan Architects mission is Design with Purpose: honoring our client’s goals and enhancing people’s lives. We listen closely to our church clients to understand the issues they are dealing with and then help them craft a vision that addresses their immediate and long-term needs. From the initial programming and planning phase through move-in and beyond, we “listen and lead” to build consensus on the design solutions that will best serve the ministry.

Client Quotes

Throughout all phases of our project, AMAA has been accountable and conscientious, very important qualities unique to less than a handful of architecture firms out of the dozens that I have worked with in the Portland marketplace.
