Portfolio: Educational Facilities

Designing educational facilities is one of the most challenging and rewarding types of architecture. The building has to support learning and be safe for the students, be an economical use of the public’s money and be flexible to the ever-changing needs of modern technology and the student body. In addition, sustainable design is vital for educational facilities. From an economic point-of-view sustainable design reduces long term operating costs; from a health standpoint it just makes sense; our future generation deserves a healthy place in which to learn.

The educational facilities team at AMAA came together out of a shared passion for this building type. They have the experience; having worked previously at many of the top education design firms in the state. They have the resources; Ankrom Moisan is the largest architecture office in the state. And they have the desire; they want to design spaces for the future generations to learn in, live in and grow in.

Client Quotes

We have found that Ankrom Moisan has a deep team; the "second level" project architects are talented people who develop a good set of working drawings. Change orders due to oversights or conflicts in the drawings have been non-existent on our projects.
