The nature of housing for seniors is changing. As a nation we are staying healthy and active longer. As we age, we continue to want the same things that all people want: to be a vital part of our community and to be engaged by life. While there are many unique design aspects to specialized housing for older adults – healthcare and wellness being most important - there are elements common to all good housing, such as warm, inviting spaces and a comfortable place that feels like home. This is true for a high rise condominium as well as for a small independent cottage. Ankrom Moisan’s extensive experience in senior housing is informed by our design of a wide range of housing types, as well as our work on hotel, resort and hospitality projects. Our services include the integration of interior design and architecture to create an experience that is consistently welcoming from the moment you approach the building to when you lay down in your bed at night.
